Founded in Milan in 1968 by visionary entrepreneur Antonio Vedani, Edil Sport / GiochiOra Playground Equipment quickly became a pioneer in the design and installation of sports equipment, recreational facilities, and children’s play areas. As the first Italian company to collaborate with a Finnish manufacturer of wooden playgrounds and to introduce wet pour continuous rubber surfacing in Italy, the company set new standards in safety and innovation. Antonio’s expertise earned him recognition across Europe, where he served as a trusted consultant on numerous major projects.
Today, the legacy of Edil Sport / GiochiOra is proudly carried forward by Antonio’s sons, Andrea and Alberto Vedani. Under their leadership, the company continues to deliver world-class solutions globally, combining cutting-edge research with a deep commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
